International Society
The International Society is an independent, not-for-profit organisation unique to the city of Manchester. We aim to provide international students with a warm and friendly welcome when they arrive in the city and to make their time in the UK a wonderful experience. we are committed to promoting international friendship and celebrating cultural diversity and through this hope to make a contribution to international relations. The International Society has over 3000 members from over 150 different countries. we arrange trips around the UK every weekend, offer over 40 different classes each week to our members and run over 100 different social events throughout the year. The International Society is open to everyone. Many of our members are British students and members of the local community in Manchester who enjoy meeting people from overseas and learning about other cultures.  if you are coming to study in manchester we hope to help make your time in the UK one of the best times in your life. Our Restaurant has an exciting Asian fusion menu with dishes from world renowned oriental chef Terry Tan as well as all the traditional favourites!
